Gone VINTAGE!!!!

                             Well, I blame my friend Elise for this. You see I wasn't really into vintage stuffs until she gave me one on my birthday(last year, I think) and I liked it. So when I saw this owl necklace on a online store in facebook, I said: "OMG! I need to have that!". I didn't hesitate any more and just bought it. Then last September, I saw a pair of cat earrings in another online store (recommended by Elise) and I thought: "That's cute". I bought it too. Then, last month Elise gave me an advance Christmas gift. She gave me 2 rings. An elephant and a winged-heart. How cool is that? Well now, I'm seriously starting to like these stuffs so I think I'm gonna start a vintage collection of my own. Yeah!!!!!!!

New Life, New Outlook...Evryhting's New!!!!!!

                                Hello there! Long time no post...sorry for that. =) Well, I'm back but not just back...I'm fabulously back!!! It's been a long time since I posted anything here. I blame my heart for that. I felt guilty so I came back. To make up for the time I was gone, I'm going to post a lot of good stuffs these coming days. This is to show that I've finally changed back to who I was before (refer to my other blog if you didn't understand what I meant). Though I changed back to who I was before, my outlook in Fashion won't change. It'll still remain a part of my life. Enough chit chat. Let's get on with the work!

                            While I was browsing through my subscriptions in YouTube, I found this amazing hairstyle. Here it is:

Bussiness Style by Eradoz

Are you the head of a big company, an office worker, a professional of a certain profession or still hunting for a job? Whatever you are in the business industry, you won't look like one if you don't act like one. The best way to show who you are to the world is through.....FASHION!

Why don't you let us, TEENAGERS, to help you find the perfect outfit for that perfect job? You'll be amaze at our 'Business Style'. Take note: We are still students.

Let's start from the bottom of the foodchain!

  1. Job Hunting
When you are out hunting for a job, you must look your best. If you think that the people who are going to interview you will just look at your achievements, skills and whatever those things you write in your resume, then you're mistaken. If you apply for an office job looking like a circus clown or worst no wonder you failed the interview even if you have mad typing skills.

  • If you're not sure on what to wear, this is just right for you.
  • It's simple but it will make them think that you're responsible(even though you're not)
  • Wear cheerful colors
  •  You can interchange the white pants with black but I recommend the white one.

For boys:

* Wear polo or polo-shirt. The length of the sleeves depends on the kind of job you're applying to. Long sleeves are for professional jobs and normal sleeves are for normal jobs.

* You're pants should match you're shirt. If you're wearing long sleeves, then wear slacks.

* Leather shoes are better.

Are you applying to become a reporter or a journalist? Then this one is will look great on you!

  • The color white means you're an innocent and charming girl. Add the black jacket. You still have that innocent charm you just added a serious and determined aura.
  • The best way to tell them you're perfect for that job!

Now this one's perfect for a PTA Meeting! "A PTA Meeting is not about business!" you must be thinking. Oh no, you're mistaken. A school is a business. You let you're child study in that school. Meaning, you set a deal with that school, you expect them to carry out their vision mission. And that's business!

  • In this outfit, you'll look like you are very concern about you're child
  • It also tells them that you meant business not just some preposterous speech about the curriculum of the school.

2. Office Worker

Now that you are part of the company it doesn't mean you can already wear whatever you want. Some company have uniforms but some don't. If they have, it's not going to be a big deal to you anymore, but if they don't, you have to look the part. Here are some ideas:

 Receptionist

as a receptionist , you need to look friendly...you have to be approachable in order to excel in your job

  • wear button down blouses in light hues
  • you can wear either skirt or pants; no maong pants!
  • Do not wear clothes that shows too much skin (you know what I mean)!

 Secretary

If you're a secretary, you need to look good ALWAYS! Because it reflects on your boss.
  • * Wear clothes that flatter you're body but don't wear SLUTTY outfits!
  • * Pumps(shoes w/ heels) is a must!
  • * You're outfit should be comfortable and easy to move in because you'll be moving and doing lots of things.

a serious secretary
a sophisticated one

 Typist

A typist doesn't need much, just your hand and you're brain. But that doesn't mean you can wear anything you want. Remember you are also a part of the company and you represents the company. If they have a good impression on you it add points to the company you're in.
  • wear something comfortable.
  • The blouse should have a collar

 Teacher

A teacher needs to look good infront of her students and still command respect.

* Long sleeves are not ideal for classrooms that don't have airconditioner.
* You can wear heels or flats as long as they're close toed.
* No miniskirts please! Pencil skirt is best,
* No swooping neckline! You're students should focus their eyes on the board not on your chest!
* Keep you hair away from your face.
* Apply makeup to look fresh and ready to teach. (Who's going to pay attention to a teacher who looks like she just woke up. Talk about 'bangag'!)

 Professor
 Male professors should look smart.

*  Vest over simple shirt
* long sleeves w/ tie
* a professional looking jacket or blazer over t-shirts or polo/ polo shirt
* Leather shoes is much better

* The ' attitude' ; act like a professional

 HRM
HRM

If you are working in a hotel, a pleasing personality is a must! You have to smile always. But you're smile is not gonna work if you look like those people selling in Divisoria.

  • Usually hotels have their own uniform but you can change the blouse inside the blazer. Wear bright colored tops. It's better if they have ruffles. (It's cute)
  • Wear black pumps.
  • Always wear a smile! =)

A stewardess meets different kind of people. In order to serve everyone properly, you need to look sophisticated. That way peole  will be at ease when asking for you're service.

  • Usually they have a certain uniform, depending on what airport do you work for.
  • Wear pumps. (Even if you are tall)
  • wear minimal accessories to avoid too much clutter because sometimes accessories gets in the way while you're serving the passengers. What will you do if you accidentally dip your bracelet in the drinks of the passenger? And what if the plane crashed in the ocean and you need to save the passengers, how can you save them if you're necklace got caught somewhere?

3. The BOSS

A business doesn't work if there's no one to decide about certain decisions. That's why we have the 'BOSS' to rely on. Now, when you're the boss people look up to you and respect you. They trust you to make decisions that will lead them to success. Do you think they would trust a boss who goes to work in his/her PJs or someone who looks like he/she just got out of a freakshow? What you wear reflects your personality and attitude. If you can decide properly on what to wear then it only shows that you are capable of making important decisions. Here are the perfect outfits for the perfect bosses:

 Cheif-of-staff

 Editor-in-chief

A Chief-of-Staff is the role model of the staff members. You are also their basis on how to act during office hours so if they saw you wearing slippers inside the office they would think that it's ok because you are doing it. To avoid making you're office their house extension, you must set the example of a responsible office worker by wearing the proper clothes.

* Wear clothes in shades of white, gray and black. Match them with light colors.
* Heels are better
* Keep you're face fresh

An Editor-in-Chief must be very detailed in everything especially when proofreading the articles and writings submitted to you. You're personality must also show in your outer appearance, this is to remind your writers and workers that you want the best they could produce.

* Glasses for an added serious vibe
* Be as creative as you can be; scarf as a belt
* Loud colors are aloud especially if you're a magazine editor; FASHION is a must!

 Supervisor

A supervisor must always look the part in order for her/him to do his/her work, to supervise. She/He must look strict and serious so that the employees will be determined to do their best in their work.

  • Black is the major color but you can also wear other colors as long as you can tone down their brightness, especially the color Yellow, Pink and Orange.
  • If you really can't look serious, wear glasses. That will do the trick.
  • You can wear pants or skirt. If you're wearing a skirt it's best if you wear blouses with sleeves then wear a big belt to create an edge in your outfit.
  • It's up to you if you want to wear heels or flats as long as they match your outfit.

* Vest over long sleeves is also a great idea; Serious and Stylish

* The necktie gives edge to an outfit.

 Principal

A principal must always look professional. He/She runs a school so whenever you see him/her, you're impression of him/her must be about education. If not, then he/she fails to represent his/her school.

* A blazer always work. If you're outfit doesn't look smart enough just throw on a black blazer and you have nothing to worry.

* Keep you're hair away from your face. You must be the first one to know the effects of dirty hair on your face. Anyone wants pimples?

 Vice-Principal

 Well, I really don't know how should a vice-President look. You can look like a principal if you want but for me, a vice-president must have a homey feeling. Since the Principal is already strict and all, why not tone down the pressure from you're employees with you're calming spirit?

* Wear blouses in light hues: Blue, White, Light Yellow....
* Don't look too sophisticated if you're aiming for that homey feeling. So no to blouses with revealing styles.
* Wear shoes with low or no heels.
* a bolero does the trick

 Manager

A manager manages or direct a certain team/branch/organization/department. He/She also represents that certain group so a manager must always look presentable. A sophisticated manager's idea or report is usually the one the board of directors hears out. 'Cuz if he/she is responsible in choosing his/her outfit then it only shows that he/she knows what he/she is doing, what more of the group he/she is leading?

* Wear clothes that flatter you're figure; but not too much.
* Wear something simple yet elegant and still carries an air of responsibility. (like the outfit in the picture)

The oufit here is perfect but the 'look' is not.

* Smile more.
* Neckties are great if you want to achieve that smart look
* Glasses also does the trick
* Leather shoes is a must!
* A proper hairdo is necessary

 CEO

The CEO must always be the most well-dressed in the company because a CEO must always carry a certain air of importance. He/She must command respect by just the clothes he/she wear.

* Wear the lartest trends in business attire.
* Heels are necessary.
* Accessories is up to you.
* You must always have composure. Keep everything undercontrol from the smallest thing(like you're nails) to the biggest things (papers you need to sign).

Same goes for the men. Look as handsome as you can be!!!

* A stylish haircut
* Well taylored coat and trousers
* Leather shoes!!!
* KILLER SMILE =)

DON'T!!!!!!

If you look like this when you come to the office, it's no wonder you never become the Employee of the Month, or worse, get fired!

and please...don't wear clothes of the opposite sex!!!

Now that you have an idea on what to wear, apply it to you're everyday life so that the time you used to read this article won't be wasted. Anyway, it's not that hard at all! As long as you know how you should look it's going to be easier to choose you're outfit. Most importantly, you should enjoy doing it because if you don't, the finish product won't be good. Trust me.

It's Cool to be in School

                 Our school year just ended today so I want to show you how I look in my uniform.

Uniform-  dress of a distinctive design or fashion worn by members of a particular group and serving as a means of identification.

Yes, a uniform is what we wear when we belong in a group/company/institution/organition. It shows equality among the members. Most people say that wearing a uniform is boring because you all look the same. Well, that's not true. I for one thinks that wearing a uniform is a challenged in my sense of fashion. It may be hard to express yourself in a uniform but not impossible at all!

I'll teach you how....

First, you'll need accessories

1. GLASSES

Buy glasses that enhance the color of your eyes, cheekbones and the shape of your face.

Well, in my case I wear glassed because I need to(I have vision problems) but I like it.

I mostly buy red glasses....

This is my new glasses.

It's weird. Sometimes it looks great on me and sometimes it doesn't. I don't know why.

 in this picture, the glasses don't suite me. See, told you so!

2. Clips

Clips are use to keep you hair away from your face because they cause pimple.

I use these clips to pin my hair up in puff or just plainly at the side.

for girls who aren't that girly, you can just  bobby pins instead.

3. Headbands

It's the coolest and easiest way to decorate your hair. Headbands nowadays have lots of designs. I like headbands with big ribbons.

I also use bandanas and cloth headbands(I don't know what they're called)

as you can see, I like glittery stuffs....

4. Bracelets
       It's the ultimate accessory ever!

When choosing bracelets for school, choose a simple one. If you like bangles then choose the thinner ones like the one above. That way you can wear as many as you want and you'll still look like a student, a stylish one!

5. Earrings

You can forget to wear you're bracelets, you're necklace and you hair accessories but you must absolutely not forget you're earrings! It's the simplest, most versatile accessory you can have.

I have one pair of earrings that I wear everyday except if there's a party.
